Bridget Otoo Hails Berla Mundi For Banning Phones At Her Wedding

Media personality from Metropolitan TV, Bridget Otoo, has expressed her admiration for her colleague Berla Mundi’s decision to restrict the use of mobile phones and other smart gadgets at her wedding.

This topic has been widely discussed on social media ever since news of Berla Mundi’s secret wedding surfaced online, adding a new layer to entertainment in Ghana.

Bridget Otoo took to Twitter to commend Berla Mundi, stating that her actions were a step in the right direction. She emphasized that by implementing this restriction, Berla Mundi prevented the possibility of people sharing misleading photos or videos that could have misrepresented the reality of her special day.

Interestingly, Bridget’s tweet seemed to indirectly reference Serwaa Amihere, who was accused of circulating an unflattering photo from her wedding in 2022.

Bridget Otoo was dissatisfied with Serwaa Amihere’s actions, as she believed that Serwaa went to great lengths to ruin her wedding by sharing what she described as “horrible” videos, solely to mock her.

During Bridget’s private wedding, Dr Evans Ago Tetteh, Serwaa Amihere, Lydia Forson, Roland Walker, and a few other friends attended the event.

However, shortly after the ceremony, Serwaa posted a video that captured the moment when Bridget’s husband avoided kissing her while they were preparing to take their first photos as a couple.

This video quickly went viral, with many bloggers focusing on the negative aspect and reporting that the groom refused to kiss Bridget due to a perceived bad odour.

In response to this, Bridget attempted to downplay the viral video by stating that she and her husband had made a vow not to kiss publicly until they were married, but she was the first to break that rule.
