Ghana is scheduled to present their final squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) by January 3, 2024, as per the directive from the Confederation of African Football.
The official announcement of the final squad is anticipated to be made ten days before the commencement of the tournament. According to CAF regulations, all 24 participating teams are required to submit their ultimate squads by January 3.
Subsequently, the teams will have until their initial matches to make any necessary adjustments to their rosters. Meanwhile, the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers will see the Black Stars facing off against Madagascar, Angola, and the Central African Republic.
The Confederation of African Football recently revealed the group qualifying matches for the upcoming edition of this prestigious tournament.
The draw took place in Johannesburg on Tuesday, and a total of 12 groups, each comprising four teams, will be vying for qualification. These teams will play both home and away matches, with the top two teams from each group securing their spots in AFCON 2023, which will be held in Ivory Coast.
