Cristiano Ronaldo Yells At His Own Coach During Al-Nassr King’s Cup Semi-Final Defeat To Al-Wehda

Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t put his emotions in check when he burst out in frustration at his own bench at own bench in Al-Nassr King’s Cup semi-final defeat to Al-Wehda.

At halftime of Monday’s King’s Cup semifinal loss against Al-Wehda, Ronaldo was visibly upset. Due to Jean-David Beauguel’s incredible bicycle kick, which caused Ronaldo to scream at the coaching staff as he left the field and which ended up being the game’s winning goal, Al-Nassr trailed the match going into halftime.

Ronaldo has scored 11 goals for Al-Nassr since joining Manchester United, but the season may still be over without him.

His team’s cup aspirations were dashed by their loss to Al-Wehda, and Al-Nassr sits three points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad despite having played one more game.

Al-Nassr and Ronaldo return to Saudi Pro League action on Friday when they host Al-Raed.

This incident comes days after Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly made an offensive gesture during a game against Al Hilal recently and a Saudi lawyer has instigated his deportation.

The incident happened on Tuesday in Riyadh after fans heckled him by yelling Lionel Messi’s name, which caused him to appear to hold his crotch.

Such conduct is forbidden in Saudi Arabia and the former Real Madrid star could be in serious trouble if confirmed. The Saudi Prosecutor’s Office has received a complaint from attorney Nouf bin Ahmed alleging that Ronaldo committed “a crime of public indecency” and demanding his arrest and expulsion.

“It is considered a crime of public dishonour, and it is one of the crimes that entail arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner,” said the lawyer specialising in International Law.

The incident has generated widespread coverage on Saudi Arabia’s most popular sports programme, “Action ya Dawri”.

According to Al Nassr sources, Mohamed al Anzi, an employee of the show, stated that the Portugal star made the gesture because he had been hit during the match.

However, other Saudi sports journalists were unimpressed and urged the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to cancel Ronaldo’s contract.

When did Cristiano Ronaldo join Al-Nassr?

The Riyadh-based team has announced that Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr back in December 2022.

After giving an angry television interview in which he claimed to feel betrayed by the team and that he did not respect their Dutch boss Erik ten Hag, the Portuguese attacker left Manchester United last month.

In a social media post on Saturday, Al Nassr praised the agreement as “history in the making” and featured a photo of Ronaldo holding up the team’s jersey.

“This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves,” the club said in a tweet.
