Davido Bestows Legendary Status On Himself
Davido has undoubtedly emerged as one of the most prominent artistes from Africa in the past ten years.
Recently, he made a post on social media to emphasize his legendary status, highlighting his consistency and continued relevance in an industry where many have struggled to stay afloat.
A throwback photo shared by Davido’s cousin, Adewale Adeleke, also known as Chairman HKN, showed the two together, with Chairman HKN referring to Davido as a legend and alluding to his longevity in the music scene.
“No be today! Legend 👑 @davido,” he wrote.
In response, the singer quoted his post and wrote; “Legendary run!”
In other Davido news, Tru News Report revealed recently that the award-winning singer and philanthropist made a generous contribution of 300 million Naira to orphanages nationwide.
This significant announcement was made by Davido himself through a post on his social media platform, X, formerly known as Twitter.
He further mentioned that he would provide comprehensive information regarding the distribution of these funds on Wednesday.
It is worth noting that Davido, in collaboration with his foundation, the David Adeleke Foundation, consistently extends support to orphanages by making annual donations.
He wrote, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow.”
