Davido’s Fans Happy To See Change In His Marital Status On Wikipedia

Fans have shared their thoughts on the newly updated Wikipedia profile for the Nigerian musician Davido, which reveals that he is married to the woman he has been seeing, Chioma.

Thursday would have been the day that Davido would have finished all the traditional wedding rites for Chioma.

Since then, the Wikipedia entry for the singer has been modified to reflect his current marital status as well as the identity of his wife.

The singer secretly married Chioma one month after the death of their only child, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in November 2022, as was previously reported in the media.

Due to the tragic events that took place around their wedding a year ago, Davido was unable to complete his Umunna rituals.

A video that has been going viral on social media shows Chioma’s father completing the Umunna and Umuada ceremonies on Thursday. This is another piece of evidence that confirms the couple’s marriage.

In response to the new information, followers of the musician have expressed their delight at seeing that Davido’s article on Wikipedia now reflects the fact that he is married to Chioma.
