Ghana is Home- Ludacris Declares After His Recent Link Up With Sarkodie
Ludacris has declared Ghana his ‘home’ and ‘motherland’ after he recently linked up with Sarkodie.
Tru News Report previously published that Ghanaian music fans were drooling at the idea of a collaboration between Sarkodie and US artist Ludacris after the two big names were spotted in a studio that was allegedly in Ghana.
Rumour has it that Ludacris came to Ghana to have a song with Sarkodie and possibly other artists. In addition, social media footage showed the American rapper and actor best known for his part in ‘Fast & Furious’ eating a plate of Jollof rice in an apartment.
The visual posted on Sarkodie’s Instagram stories was captioned “Guess who linked up after 11 years @ludacris.”
In another muted footage, the duo was seen bopping to a song. Sources say the American rapper and actor is working on a project expected to feature some African musicians and producers.
To this end, a lot of Sarkodie’s fans have expressed their happiness over the development and wish their honcho will augment his rap legacy with this impending collab.
In this new update, Ludacris was seen Nigerian singer Patoranking arguing over who has the best Jollof Rice in West country. Prior to that the American updated their Twitter page with footage of his session with Sarkodie in the studio and captioned it, ‘Live from the Motherland.’
Ludacris goes by the real name Christopher Brian Bridges. He is a rapper, actor, and record producer from the United States. Ludacris was born in Champaign, Illinois, and at the age of nine, his family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he started rapping. starting with a short period of time as a DJ.
In the late 1990s, he established his own record company, Disturbing tha Peace, and released his debut album, Incognegro. (1999). After signing with Def Jam Recordings, the record was repackaged and released for his big label debut Back for the First Time.
As an actor, Ludacris is best known for his role as Tej Parker in the Fast and Furious film series, with his first appearance in the franchise coming in 2003. His other notable roles include Crash (2004), Gamer (2009), and New Year’s Eve (2011). In 2021, Bridges created his own children’s musical television series for Netflix known as Karma’s World, in which he also served as a voice actor. Ludacris is also a private pilot.
