Ghanaians Should Report Afia Schwarzenegger If She Attacks Anyone On Social Media – Lawyer Ampaw

Afia Schwarzenegger was prohibited for two years from indulging in social media banter by the Tema Court, and in light of this, lawyer Maurice Ampaw has urged Ghanaians to keep an eye on her and report her if she abuses anybody.

During an interview with Abrantepa, lawyer Maurice Ampaw said that a fresh sentence would be handed down if she broke the restrictions.

In a contempt case, the Tema High Court fined media personality Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, better known by her stage name as Afia Schwarzenegger, GH60,000 and barred her from using any form of social media for two years.

Moreover, the court ordered the celebrity to pay Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, GH5,000 in a contempt case for her defamatory utterances. For her contempt of court, she was sentenced to 10 days in prison.

The Tema Circuit Court also issued GHC 60,000 fines to Nana Ama McBrown, A Plus, Fadda Dickson, and the United Showbiz program’s management for contempt.

This comes after Chairman Wontumi filed a lawsuit against Nana Ama McBrown, Afia Schwarzenegger, Mr. Aplus, Mr. Logic, and the United Showbiz Show’s management for airing a discussion of a court matter between Afia Schwarzenegger and Mr. Chairman Wontumi.

She had to put up a good-behavior bond set by the judge for 36 months. As a condition of her bail, she was also told to keep quiet about the case in public. If she disobeys the court’s orders, she will be summoned back for future hearings.
