GHOne Issues Statement On Serwaa Amihere’s Viral Video

The management of the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) network, the parent company of GHOne, has issued an official press release in response to the recent news involving Serwaa Amihere.

The statement acknowledges the criminal proceedings initiated by the State against individuals allegedly involved in the publication of the video. The press release explains that the company’s public comment was delayed due to this new development.

Additionally, the statement mentioned that management has announced plans to conduct an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the video’s release.

EIB network intends to share the findings of the independent investigation once it is completed, and further actions will be taken accordingly. See below for full statement:

Management of EIB Network has noted with concern the circulation of a private video purported to be one of our employees, Serwaa Amihere, who is a broadcast journalist with GHOne TV.

We are also aware that criminal proceedings have been instituted by the State against certain persons who are alleged to have published the said video.

This has delayed our public comment on this issue. Management has also decided to conduct an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the release of the said video.

The Company will accordingly publish the findings of the independent investigation as soon as same is completed and further measures will be taken thereafter.
