Have You Seen Any Nigerian Promoting Afua Asantewaa Singathon? – Nigel Gaisie Asks Ghanaians To ‘Wise Up’

Nigel Gaisie has observed with great interest that the excitement surrounding Afua Asantewaa’s singing competition is only limited to Ghanaians, as Nigerians appear to be indifferent to the phenomenon.

In light of this, he is urging Ghanaians to always champion their own talents, just as Nigerians supported Hilda Baci during her cooking competition, in which she emerged victorious. His views have predictably sparked a frenzy as far as entertainment in Ghana is concerned.

He pointed out that during Hilda’s journey, Ghanaian citizens on social media made a significant impact by rallying behind her, but they were not receiving the same level of support for Afua.

Earlier in the day, the founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, as well as Ghanaian actress Akuapem Polo, made an appearance at Afua Asantewaa Aduonum’s singing event, demonstrating solidarity for the ambitious singer.

On the evening of December 25, 2023, the Akwaaba Village hosted a gathering of Ghanaian celebrities, including Kwami Eugene, Shatta Wale, Fella Makafui, and Nana Ama McBrown, who all came together to endorse and support the female journalist and entrepreneur.

In a post sighted by Tru News Report, prophet Nigel Gaisie, right after his visit to the place, wrote:

Alas, you chanced on any Nigerian celebrity or blogger posting about Afua’s singa-thon? But Ghanaians no make we sleep when it was Hilda. Let’s Learn to mind our business and promote ours. They have practiced a culture of supporting their own no matter what We can equally do that. It’s never too late, let the younger generation change the narrative….I WAS THERE THIS DAWN TO SUPPORT HER….GO GIRL?GO GHANA…I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE MAKING BUSINESS, OUT OF THIS JOURNEY.LIKE A CARNIVAL…AWARESOM **WOW…PNG.
