I Don’t Smoke Weed, Cigarette, Or Drink Intense Alcohol – Edem
Denning Edem Hotor, a well-known Ghanaian rapper commonly referred to as Edem, has revealed that he has never experienced depression in his life due to his avoidance of substances such as marijuana, cigarettes, and excessive alcohol consumption.
He also claimed that he engages in sex once or twice daily during his free time and that he does so because he believes it to be healthier than smoking.
He made this statement during an interview with Roselyn Felli on the Prime Morning show. Edem claims that he has never been depressed despite facing many difficulties in life because he has never used substances like weed or cigarettes.
“I’ve never been depressed. I’ve had low moments in life, but I’ve never been depressed, and I always say I think the reason is because I don’t smoke weed, cigarettes, (drink) intense alcohol, or do any of those things. I feel that for you to go through depression, if you’re at your lowest and you do those things, it might drive you into that space. I prefer sex to smoking and anything else. It’s healthier,” as quoted by ameyawdebrah.com.
He continued by saying that he is not a sex addict, despite the fact that he enjoys sexual activity and would even choose it over using hard drugs. He did, however, admit to the occasional use of shisha, which he acknowledged has no effect on his on-stage performance.
