Edem’s Accident: ‘We Dey See Things’- DKB Urges Ghanaians To Remember Celebrities In Prayers

Derick Kobina Bonney, known within the realms of showbiz as DKB, has made a heartfelt plea for prayers from the people of Ghana on behalf of fellow celebrities, particularly in light of the recent accident involving Edem.

Bonney, who is widely known as a comedian as far as entertainment in Ghana is concerned, emphasized that celebrities like himself often face spiritual attacks, which is exactly what happened to Edem.

He stressed that Edem’s situation is extremely sensitive, and therefore, radio presenters and social media commentators should exercise caution and refrain from discussing it, as the rapper is currently going through a deeply emotional trauma.

He emphasized that their daily struggle could only be overcome through prayers, and he humbly requested that the people of Ghana pray for them. Watch the video he shared on his Twitter platform.

Previously, Tru News Report had reported that Edem’s car collided with a pedestrian on the George Walker Bush Highway shortly after his appearance on UTV’s United Showbiz show.

According to Edem’s management, the rapper miraculously escaped a potentially fatal accident, as confirmed by the MTTD division of the Tesano Police Service. On Sunday, December 10, while driving on the George Walker Bush Highway, Edem encountered a naked woman who suddenly appeared in his path during the early hours of the morning.

His management further explained that although Edem’s car overturned upon impact, he fortunately emerged from the incident unharmed.

The renowned rapper is currently collaborating with law enforcement authorities, while the investigation into the case remains ongoing. He has pledged to assist if required and has assured his fans that he is secure, engaged, and in good health.

It has been reported that the woman he collided with tragically passed away at the hospital. The legal proceedings for this case are currently underway. On Monday, December 11, 2023, Edem appeared in court and was granted bail in the amount of GH50,000.
