It Was His Personality— Kim Kardashian On Why She Divorced Kanye West

Kim Kardashian has revealed that the primary factor leading to her decision to leave Kanye West was his personality.

She explained that while she initially married someone she considered the best rapper in the world, who was wealthy and talented, his character ultimately posed challenges in their relationship.

Speaking in a recent episode of the Big Boss show, Kardashian said, “I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he is the richest black man in America, a talented legit genius who gave me four incredible kids.

The recent turn of events has been perceived by many as a strategic move by Kim to re-enter Ye’s life. Tru News Report can predict that conversely, the rapper, who fought hard to salvage his relationship with Kim, is now observing from a distance. Even after their divorce, Ye continued to refer to Kim as his wife.

In an extensive interview for Drink Champs in 2021, Ye delved into various topics, frequently mentioning the mother of his four children, who initiated divorce proceedings in February.

At one juncture in the interview, he initially addressed Kim as his “wife,” emphasizing, “‘Cause she’s still my wife, it ain’t no paperwork.” He further expresses his wish to remain married to the reality star, criticizing her SNL monologue joke about their divorce.

In the monologue, Kim referenced Kanye, joking, “I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids. So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing — his personality.”

Kanye, who was not fond of the joke, said in the interview that “SNL making my wife say I divorced her on TV, ’cause they just wanted to get that bar off. And I ain’t ever seen the papers. We’re not even divorced. ‘Cause, that ain’t no joke to me.”

The rapper also talked the role his kids played to ensure they never divorced.

“My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together,” he insists. “But if you look at the media, that’s not what they’re promoting. They want it to be a new wedding, a new episode, a new TV show. And then they have people all around in my wife’s ear. That publicist, I don’t f**k with her.”

He goes on to explicitly call out Hulu, the streaming service that is currently filming the Kardashian family’s new reality series.

“I want to get my family back together. I’m assuming this interview isn’t that helpful to that,” he notes. “That’s my family, Hulu!”
