Joe Budden Is Convinced Megan Thee Stallon Dissed Him On Her New Track, ‘Hiss’
Joe Budden believes that Megan Thee Stallion’s latest song has directly targeted him, and he is making sure that everyone is aware of it.
During a recent podcast, the ex-rapper turned entertainment critic expressed his efforts in deciphering the song’s lyrics, only to realize that certain lines were aimed at him.
The rapper and podcaster spoke on The Joe Budden Show about the new song, saying, “I’ve been scraping my head all morning trying to figure out who has been dancing to R. Kelly recently. Then it hit me like a bag of bricks. Well, my girl told me. That was us!”
He added with a laugh, “Don’t quote me, but I think that she’s dissing us.”
The line in question goes, “I can never be judged by a bitch that was dancing, making R. Kelly go viral.”
Since its release on January 26, “Hiss” has sparked a significant amount of controversy. Furthermore, there have been speculations that the rapper known as “Cobra” aimed a dig at Drake in this particular track.
During the second verse of her new single, the Houston dynamo raps, “These n-ggas hate on BBLs and be walkin’ around with the same scars/ Real curvy, no edging, n-ggas fight to get in my section/ Don’t speak on my body count if the dick ain’t worth coming back for seconds.”
She adds, “Cosplay gangsters, fake-ass accents/ Posted in another n-gga hood like a bad bitch.”
Hip Hop media types and fans alike immediately began speculating who the bars were directed at, and focused in on one superstar in particular.
“Why they saying Meg tried to respond to Drake w these bars,” Akademiks asked in an Instagram post on Friday (January 26). “Yall think these meant for the [goat] Or na,” he added, using the goat emoji.
One user commented on Megan’s official Instagram post of the single, “The way you whacked a couple of people! We running it back again and again!” Another account simply added, “GAGGED THAT CANADIAN.”
