Kanayo O. Kanayo Prays For His Son As He Relocates To America
Kanayo O. Kanay has been spotted in a viral video praying for his son, who recently moved to the United States of America.
In the video shared by blogger Linda Ikeji, the veteran actor asked for his son to keep being a “He” and do new things that would make Nigeria and the nation he is in proud. Kanayo prayed for his son to pay attention in class and remember his upbringing.
In the form of a prayer, he said;
America will be proud of you. Your achievements will cause America to celebrate you. You will imbibe the good of the land and eat the good therefrom. . You will continue to be a HE from Ezinihitte Mbaise in Nigeria. Your focus shall be on your books and job NOT ON TATTOS. May you never depart from your upbringing. DO NOT FORGET GOD. You shall ever remain on God’s RADAR AND GPS. Good luck, boy.
Kanayo O. Kanayo’s real name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere. He is a Nigerian actor and lawyer.[4] In 2006, he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in the movie Family Battle.
Born on March 1st, 1962, in Nru Umueze Oboama Ezinihitte, Mbaise Local Government Area, Imo State, Kanayo is a local. He was raised and went to St. Joseph primary school in Aba, Abia State. He attended Secondary Technical School in Aba for his secondary studies.
He graduated from the University of Lagos with a graduate degree in philosophy, a diploma in law, and a diploma in mass communication. Additionally, he earned a master’s in political science. In addition, he graduated from the University of Abuja with a law degree in 2018 and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2020.
In 1982, Kanayo began his acting career by appearing in Nigerian Television Authority productions. In the 1992 film Living in Bondage, he made his debut on the big screen. He has appeared in more than 100 movies, and his performance in the film Across the Niger earned him a nomination for the 2008 African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor. Up North and Living in Bondage: Breaking Free are two of his most recent motion pictures.
