Kennedy Agyapong has stirred up a lot of conversation among internet users with his recent altercation with a fellow lawmaker.
On February 13th, during what seemed like a normal exchange of pleasantries between Members of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong and Sylvester Tetteh took a dramatic turn.
Tetteh, the MP for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfro, tried to greet Agyapong as he entered the chamber, but Agyapong was dissatisfied with the friendly gesture.
In a video captured by Citi FM’s Parliamentary correspondent, Ayikwei Okine, Agyapong can be seen berating Tetteh and telling him to move away. This unexpected confrontation caught many off guard as the intensity escalated.
Deputy Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo Markin quickly stepped in to diffuse the tension and prevent a full-blown brawl.
Markin guided Tetteh away from Agyapong, restoring order in the chamber. This incident has sparked discussions among parliamentary observers, who are questioning the underlying cause of the heated exchange between the two MPs.
