Kennedy Agyapong Unleashes ‘Showdown Moves’ To Usher Us To The New Year

Kennedy Agyapong has sparked a buzz on the internet with his latest dance move, which his fans have dubbed the ‘showdown dance’, as we enter the new year.

The Assin Central Member of Parliament showcased his dance skills at his wife’s birthday celebration. This extravagant event took place on January 1, 2024, and was attended by close friends, associates, and a diverse group of individuals from all over the country.

A video circulating on social media captured the lawmaker, dressed in a white Lacoste shirt and blue trousers, energetically dancing to Bisa Kdei’s hit track, “Broda Broda”.

Agyapong appeared overjoyed as he joined several male co-dancers, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone present.

Before cutting the birthday cake with Agyapong and their children, his wife Christine expressed her gratitude to well-wishers with a brief ‘Thank You’ message.

The term ‘showdown’ emerged as a recent term for the unconventional politician following the circulation of a viral video in which he made threats towards the vice president and his then rival, Dr Mahama Bawumia, during their bid for the flagbearership position within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Despite this controversy, he ultimately experienced a narrow defeat in the polls. In a gracious manner, he expressed his appreciation to the party’s elections committee for organizing a transparent and impartial election.

Shortly after the announcement of the results, he publicly accepted his defeat and extended his congratulations to Vice President Bawumia, who emerged as the victorious candidate.

He further pledged his unwavering support to Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 general elections, firmly believing in their ability to triumph over the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and “break the 8.”
