KiDi & Nigerian Artiste Adekunle Gold Banter On Twitter Over Super Eagles

Ghanaian artiste KiDi and Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold have engaged in a friendly rivalry regarding the performance of Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles, in the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.

While Ghana unfortunately failed to make an impact in the tournament for the second time in a row, Nigeria, their biggest rival in African football, has successfully reached the semi-finals after defeating Angola 1-0 in the quarterfinals.

In response to the victory, Adekunle Gold advised those who intended to mock Nigeria to refrain from doing so and even mentioned Kidi on Twitter.

Adekunle wrote:

“Delete your drafts.”

KiDi expressed to the Adekunle crooner his desire for the Super Eagles to make it to the final and experience defeat, as it would result in greater pain and provide ample material for banter.

‘Sugar Daddy’ also emphasized his intention to mock Adekunle and his nation if Peseiro’s team fails to secure victory in the AFCON.

“I actually want you to go to the final and lose. That’s more painful. I will be there ! 😂” Kidi tweeted.
