Kofi Jamar Weighs In On Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy’s Beef

Rapper Kofi Jamar shared his thoughts on the ongoing feud between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy during a recent interview on Cape Coast-based property FM.

The Ekorso rhymer expressed his concern that what initially appeared to be healthy competition in the industry has now escalated into a personal conflict, particularly due to Shatta Wale’s approach.

Despite his efforts to remain neutral, Jamar emphasized that it is no longer beneficial for both parties to prolong the feud given its current negative direction. He said:

I think that as things continue to unfold in life progressively, sometimes we need to change but previously the beef between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy was very helpful.

It has now become personal so from what I’ve observed as a lay person watching from afar I can say the rivalry between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale has become personal.

I wish it wasn’t like that for them to realize that the beef was helpful sometime ago but now it’s no longer necessary to continue in that trajectory.

The beef between the two was augmented recently during the ‘Salafest’ concert, organized by Baba Sadiq on Thursday, April 11, 2024, as part of the Eid ul Fitr festivities.

It is alleged that Stonebwoy, upon learning that Shatta Wale was also scheduled to perform at the concert, decided to boycott the event.

In reaction, Wale while performing for his fans stopped and unleashed a barrage of insults at Stonebwoy, targeting his disability.

Amidst the tension between the two artistes, Sammy Flex revealed that Stonebwoy’s unprofessional behaviour is the cause of the renewed rivalry.

According to Sammy Flex, Stonebwoy pulled out last minute upon learning that Shatta Wale would perform right after him, causing tension between the two artists.

This information was shared by Sammy Flex during an interview on Onua FM a few days ago.
