Mohammed Kudus‘s goal solo against Freiburg in March has been adjudged Goal of the Month by West Ham. Recall that his second goal, along with the first one, were both in contention for the prestigious award.
Nevertheless, it was his first strike, which was also the Hammers’ fourth against Freiburg, that ultimately secured the recognition. Kudus skillfully dribbled past three opponents after retrieving the ball in his own half, before slotting it past the goalkeeper.
This remarkable goal was also named the Europa League Goal of the Week following his exceptional performance on that memorable Thursday evening.
This marks the third time that the Ghanaian international has claimed the Goal of the Month honour at West Ham United since he arrived at the club last summer from Ajax Amsterdam.
Kudus continues to impress this season, having scored a total of 13 goals in various competitions for the London-based team.
