Mr Ibu Celebrates 62nd Birthday With Family In Hospital Bed

A video has surfaced online featuring Mr Ibu celebrating his 62nd birthday in a hospital bed surrounded by his family.

The video has caused concern among his fans. In the video, Mr Ibu is seen wearing a hospital gown and sitting on the bed while his family members sing the happy birthday song to him. A cart carrying his birthday cake and some drinks is placed in front of him.

Despite weakly mouthing along to the song while holding the knife in the cake, Mr Ibu appears to be in discomfort, repeatedly shaking his leg while trying to stay seated. His other leg, which is extended, appears swollen and in poor condition.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Mr Ibu has been hospitalized. He has survived multiple near-death experiences and has shared his story.

In 2020, he disclosed that he was poisoned by some of his workers in an alleged attempt to end his life. This occurred in his village in Enugu, where he was beaten up in his office by his staff and poison was forced into his mouth. Fortunately, his dancers and boys rushed him to a hospital.

In 2022 he revealed that he was hospitalised for some days after being poisoned during an entertainment event in Abuja.

He had said, “I just got poisoned again. It seems my enemies are using me to rehearse (their powers). This time, I wasn’t poisoned in the village, I was poisoned in Abuja last week at an entertainment event. I really cannot explain how I was poisoned because it was a gathering of people, though it was not a big event,” he said.
