Mr. Ibu’s Adopted Daughter Takes Over Late Actor’s TikTok Account, Deletes All His Videos

Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of Mr Ibu, has caused a stir by assuming control of the late actor’s Tiktok account. She rebranded it with her own name and removed certain videos of the actor, keeping only the ones where they appear together.

Upon inspection, it was noticed that Jasmine Okafor has assumed control of Mr Ibu’s Tiktok account, renaming it as @LadyJasminec_live while featuring her name as Chioma Jasmine Okafor on the page.

Additionally, Jasmine Okafor continues to manage her account under the username @ladyjasminec, boasting a following of 1.3 million users. Her action has sparked a massive stir online.

Before Mr. Ibu’s, Jasmine opened up about her unique bond with the actor and his family, shedding light on their relationship in a video she shared on her favourite platform, Tiktok.

Mr Ibu and Jasmine Okafor share a connection that has left many people perplexed. Although she has been a part of the actor’s family since 2020, it wasn’t until February 2023 that she gained widespread recognition. This came about when Mr Ibu’s second wife, Stella Maris, accused her of having an affair with her husband.

In the following months, Jasmine revealed that Mr Ibu was battling a life-threatening illness. She shared videos of the actor and appealed for financial assistance to support his medical condition. Numerous individuals responded to her pleas, including the Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Foundation, which covered all of Mr Ibu’s medical expenses.

However, on November 6, 2023, Jasmine also disclosed that the actor had undergone seven surgeries and had one of his legs amputated. Throughout Mr Ibu’s health crisis, his wife and adopted daughter have been actively involved, addressing the situation head-on, seeking aid, and keeping fans informed about the surgeries and treatments he has undergone.

Unfortunately, tensions arose within the actor’s family, leading to a public dispute between his wife and daughter regarding the funds donated for his treatment. The actor’s wife accused Jasmine of misappropriating the treatment funds, resulting in a series of allegations exchanged between them on social media.

Subsequently, Jasmine and Mr Ibu’s son, Daniel Onyeabuchi, were arrested in Lagos by the police on charges of defrauding the actor of N55 million.

In a video Jasmine revealed that Mr Ibu had adopted her as his daughter following the loss of her biological father many years ago. She explained that her deeper involvement in the Okafor family began in 2020 when Mr Ibu sought financial assistance from her while she was studying in Cyprus.
