My Husband Had Been iII For A Long Time—John Kuma’s Wife Breaks Silence

The wife of John Kumah has disclosed that her late husband had been suffering from a terminal illness since August 2023.

She firmly believes that this illness was the cause of his death hence she expressed her confusion and frustration over individuals like Captain Smart, who claims that her husband was poisoned. She also criticizes the media for spreading these baseless allegations without any evidence.

Furthermore, Lilian took a dig at Nigel Gaisie for exploiting her husband’s death to gain attention, stating that his supposed prophecy about John Kumah was false as he was already aware of his health condition.

Lilian emphasizes that none of the doctors they consulted ever mentioned poisoning in their reports, making it shocking for her to see the media speculating about it.

In her words, she cannot comprehend why someone would lie about her husband’s cause of death and still roam freely, causing additional pain to their grieving family. Lilian highlights that she stood by her husband during his difficult moments, and despite his suffering, he remained dedicated to serving his country and political party.

“My husband went through pain but he never showed that he was in pain. He went through all the pain to do everything he needed to do during the period of his ill-health.

“He was motivated by a particular motto that he always operated by which is, “We don’t do what is convenient, we do what we are commanded to do”. So [despite] all the pain, he endured,” Mrs. Kumah remarked.

“Right from day one since he was diagnosed in Germany, I have been part of the medical processes my husband went through, and no one, none of the doctors ever told me that my husband’s medical situation was because of poisoning.

“I have all the medical reports both from Germany and Ghana and food poisoning has never been mentioned in any of the reports,” the late John Kumah’s widow added.
