My Wife Slapped Me- Akrobeto Opens Up On Collapse Of First Marriage

Akrobeto has opened up about the reasons behind the end of his first marriage and his decision not to remarry.

The actor and Real News host said that in 2006, he got married with hopes of building a strong and loving family. Unfortunately, he experienced abuse from his wife, which led his family to advise him to leave the marriage to protect his life.

This revelation came as Akrobeto commented on the 20th-anniversary celebration of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia’s, marriage. Akrobeto emphasized the importance of understanding between spouses, stating that it is the key to long-lasting and fulfilling marriages.

He said, “I got married in 2006. However, my wife was abusive, so to save my life, I had to walk out. My family was of the view that if I don’t walk out, I may end up dead,” he said.

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife, Samira Bawumia, recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with joy and gratitude on Valentine’s Day.

Two decades ago, they embarked on a journey of love and partnership, promising to support each other through all circumstances. Throughout the years, they have not only honoured their vows but have also accomplished many milestones together, both personally and professionally.

Their unwavering dedication to each other has been a source of inspiration for many, as they have faced life’s challenges with grace and resilience.

Samira, in an Instagram post marking their special day, expressed her deep appreciation to God for guiding them on this incredible journey.

She also took the opportunity to send warm Valentine’s Day greetings to her beloved husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, recognizing the love and encouragement he has always provided.
