Nothing Wrong With Sister Derby And Medikal Performing Together- Arnold Baidoo

Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has expressed his opinion on a significant moment during the 02 Indigo concert, where Medikal and Sister Derby performed together on stage.

This particular segment of the concert has garnered a lot of attention, mainly because Sister Derby and Medikal were previously involved in a romantic relationship but later went their separate ways, with Medikal marrying Fella Makafui.

Interestingly, Derby, who accused Medikal of cheating on her with Fella Makafui, the same woman he eventually married and had a child named Island Frimpong with, is now divorced from Fella Makafui.

Therefore, when the two artists took to the stage to perform, Ghanaians eagerly joined in the discussion with their own interpretations.

However, Arnold believes that there was nothing wrong with the two of them reigniting their chemistry on stage.

According to Arnold, the song they performed, Too Risky was one of Medikal’s biggest hits when it was released.

He argued that this song even earned Medikal seven nominations at the TGMAs, although he did not win any of them.

Arnold also emphasized that if Medikal was expected to perform at the 02 Indigo concert, it was only fitting for him to showcase his extensive catalogue of songs, including his most popular ones.

Arnold stated:

“They performed on that stage. Too Risky was one of the biggest songs when it was released. That song made Medikal get seven nominations which he didn’t win any of them and if he’s supposed to perform at 02 and perform his biggest catalogue of songs. So if his team meets and decides that they need to perform that song, it is in the right direction.

I will applaud Medikal on the decision to allow Sista Derby to perform on that big stage. If you organize such a big show, you need a highlight of the show.

What he did was a smart move because he did not kill anyone. There is no bad blood between them. It does not make sense to say that there is a problem because he performed with his ex.

Forget the timing argument. Rihanna and Chris Brown had their problems but when they solved their issues they mounted the stage.

So let’s not be emotional about this thing at all. The point is he didn’t go there for moral studies, he went there to produce a show and there is nothing wrong with the performance.”
