The alleged murder of Eric Johnson, a businessman and owner of the Royal Cossy Hotel at Jirapa in the Upper West Region, has led to the arrest of five people by the police.
The suspects are Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, and Michael Klugey, all of whom are employees at the Cossy Hill Hotel. Additionally, Kumbata Kwaku, who was apprehended earlier, is also included in the group of suspects.
The police have recently provided an update on the investigation through their official Facebook page, informing the general public about the progress made.
Eric Johnson recently constructed the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel, also referred to as Jirapa Dubai, in the Upper West Region. This luxurious establishment features a 4-km safari park, home to a variety of animals, including zebras. Additionally, it boasts an artificial lake with fish and offers aqua activities such as jet skiing.
It is understood that Eric Johnson was attacked by unidentified assailants on Saturday night, resulting in his untimely demise. This incident has sparked widespread public discourse.
Eric Johnson, an ambitious entrepreneur, embarked on the construction of the safari resort in Jirapa to generate employment opportunities in the area and attract tourists to bolster the local economy.
POLICE UPDATE: FOUR MORE PEOPLE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE MURDER OF COSSY HILL HOTEL CEO AT JIRAPA
The Ghana Police Service has today 11th February, 2024 arrested four (4) more people in connection with the murder of Mr. Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cossy Hill Hotel at Jirapa in the Upper West Region, bringing the number of suspects so far arrested to five (5).
The suspects, Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix and Michael Klugey who are all workers at the Cossy Hill Hotel are in Police custody assisting the investigation together with suspect Kumbata Kwaku who was earlier on arrested. Investigation continues to bring the perpetrator(s) to face justice.
