Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Welcome Second Child
Barbados-born superstar Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky, have welcomed their second child. The new baby arrived just a few months after Rihanna unveiled her baby bump during her Super Bowl halftime show in 2023.
On Monday, August 21, it was reported that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had given birth to their second child together. TMZ broke the story first, and insiders informed Entertainment Tonight that “Rihanna and ASAP will spend the early days of parenthood out of the public eye and won’t make any immediate plans to debut the new baby.”
RiRi and her partner welcomed their first child, a son, in May 2022, so this new arrival comes exactly a year and three months after that happy moment. During her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show in February, Rihanna shocked fans by revealing that she was pregnant again by wearing a figure-hugging red dress that showcased her baby bump.
Since then, she’s been wearing her unique, stunning maternity style on red carpets, social media, and everywhere else. At the 2023 Academy Awards in March, she wore a shawl and a low-waisted skirt that showed off her baby bump as she walked the red carpet with A$AP. Pictures of the couple smiling cutely together captured the precious moment when Rocky held Ri’s growing belly.
Also in May, the singer attended the Met Gala, where she was seen in a stunning white Valentino wedding gown with a train and white roses. She told ET of her second pregnancy, “It’s so different from the first one,””No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything’s different, but I’m enjoying it… I feel good,” added the “Love on the Brain” singer. “I feel energetic.”
