India’s Richest Man Recruits Rihanna To Perform At His Son’s Wedding For $6 Million
Rihanna has been offered a whopping $6 million to perform at the extravagant wedding of India’s wealthiest man’s son.
The Daily Mail reported that Rihanna arrived in Jamnagar, India, on Friday (March 1) to prepare for her performance at the pre-wedding celebration for Mukesh Ambani’s son, earning £5 million (approximately $6.3 million) for her appearance.
The lavish three-day event, estimated to cost over $130 million, will also see the attendance of tech moguls such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Robert Iger, and other influential figures.
Mukesh Ambani previously hired Beyoncé for his daughter’s wedding in 2018, paying a similar amount for a private concert.
Rihanna’s upcoming performance at the Ambani wedding will mark her first since her show at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show last year during the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
Addtionally, this latest venture will mark her first return to the music industry in several years, following a period of hiatus where she expressed her desire to focus on other endeavors.
According to insiders, she had reached a point where she felt she had accomplished all she wanted to in music and wanted to channel her energy into different pursuits.
Apart from her musical endeavors, the artist has been actively involved in various projects. In 2017, she introduced her groundbreaking Fenty Beauty line, which aimed to promote inclusivity and diversity in the beauty and fashion industry for women of all skin tones and body types.
The following year, she unveiled her lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty, which garnered attention during New York Fashion Week in 2019. Expanding her empire, she launched Fenty Skin in 2020, a skincare brand that further solidified her presence in the beauty industry.
In recognition of her immense success, Forbes declared her the wealthiest female musician in the world in the subsequent year, with a staggering fortune of $1.7 billion.
Additionally, she took a step back from the limelight to focus on her personal life, embracing the role of a mother alongside her rapper husband, ASAP Rocky. They now have two children together.

As of October 2020, Ambani was ranked as the 6th-wealthiest person globally by Forbes, surpassing Jack Ma to become Asia’s richest person with a net worth of $44.3 billion in July 2018. Notably, he is also the wealthiest person outside of North America and Europe.
