Sarkodie’s Diss Song to Nasty C is ‘Class 2’ Rap- Yaa Pono Starts Cold War With Obidi

Yaw Pono has ripped into Sarkodie after he released a new diss track dubbed, ‘Landlord’ where he tackled South African rapper Nasty C and other relevant subjects.

Remember that the talented rapper recently disclosed in a hot freestyle that he turned down two requests for a duet from Sarkodie because he wouldn’t shake hands with him when they first met.

“See, when I first met Sarkodie, he wouldn’t shake my hand… Cool, I’m not too proud to say I’m still a fan but I held a grudge and told myself to wait till I’m the man..” Nasty C dropped his bars over a beat.

However, Sarkodie, barely 49 hours ago, hit back at him in a similar fashion saying it’s not true he asked for a collab from him.

Sarkodie clarified that he is aware of what Nasty C is doing and that it is necessary to hit a big gun like him in order to sustain his relevance.

However, colleague Yaa Pono thinks Sarkodie’s attempt to shove Nasty C off is wack- to put it bluntly. According to the Tema-based rapper, when he heard the buzz on the internet concerning the ‘landlord’ song, he was eager to listen to it only to be hugely disappointed after analyzing the song first-hand.

He said he himself will serve Ghanaians with better rap songs as an alternative to Satkodie’s weak lines delivered in the ‘Landlord’ song in 2023and beyond.
