‘Shoemaker’ Shares New Update About Fire That Destroyed Kojo Antwi’s House

A neighbour of Kojo Antwi, who is a shoemaker, has provided reporters with a fresh update on the fire that destroyed his home in Kwashieman.

According to the shoemaker, the affected property was not the musician’s actual home, but rather a house specifically used as a studio.

He claimed that he and a small group of individuals took the initiative to combat the fire before contacting the fire department, which responded quickly and worked diligently to put out the massive blaze.

He mentioned that there were approximately three to four firefighters who battled the fire for more than six hours until it was eventually put out. The fire ignited at approximately 5 pm on Sunday and persisted until midnight on Monday.

“I wasn’t here when it started, but I got a call saying the place was burning. The Whole residents came out in their numbers to help…By the time I arrived, the whole building was engulfed in flames.”

“We immediately called the fire service, and they responded quickly. There were about 3 or 4 firefighters…They fought the fire for over six hours before finally extinguishing it. The fire started around 5 pm Sunday and till midnight Monday,” he told Ghanaweekend in an interview.

Tru News Report previously shared this report revealing that a fire had razed down Kojo Antwi’s house, as seen in a trending video.

Tru News Report diligently attempted to verify the news of the fire outbreak directly from Kojo Antwi himself, but unfortunately, our efforts were unsuccessful.
