Kojo Antwi’s Kwashieman Residence Razed Down By Fire

A video making the rounds on Twitter captures Ghanaian firefighters bravely battling a massive fire that engulfed a building believed to be owned by veteran singer Kojo Antwi.

In the trending video, the lead firefighter can be heard urging his team to exercise caution, emphasizing the importance of their safety given the severity of the disaster they were facing.

Situated in Kwashieman, a suburb of Accra, the house in question is reported to be one of the musician’s luxurious mansions.

Tru News Report has been diligently attempting to verify the news of the fire outbreak directly from Kojo Antwi himself, but unfortunately, our efforts have been unsuccessful thus far.

As of the time of writing this report, Kojo Antwi has not made any social media posts disclosing this unfortunate incident.

However, our reliable source has confirmed that the burned property indeed belongs to him.

Furthermore, our source has informed us that there were no casualties, and although the fire service managed to bring the situation under control, significant damage had already been inflicted.

Kojo Antwi is widely regarded as the greatest Ghanaian musician in history.

His debut solo album, All I Need is You, launched in 1986, quickly rose to the top of the charts in Ghana.

Fusing Ghanaian highlife, Congolese soukous, Caribbean Lovers rock, African American soul, and R&B, his music captivated audiences.

Notably, he made history as the first Ghanaian artist to receive a BET Awards nomination.

Singing primarily in Twi, Ghana’s predominant language, he embarked on a tour of the United States in June 2018.
