Snoop Dogg Learns Twi As He Readies To Storm Ghana Soon

Snoop Dogg has implied that he will be making a trip to Ghana shortly, thanks to Ghanaian rapper Gambo who recently traveled to the US to promote his brand and establish connections with influential Americans to advance his career.

While in the US, Gambo had the opportunity to link up with Jermaine Dupri, Timberland, and Jim Jones, with the latter confirming his participation in the remix of Gambo’s popular song “DRIP.”

Additionally, Gambo had a chance encounter with Snoop Dogg, a legendary rapper, and their interaction revealed Snoop Dogg’s admiration for both Gambo and Ghana.

During their meeting, Gambo shared details about his upcoming music album, which he is currently recording in the United States.

Snoop Dogg was impressed by Gambo’s dedication and hard work in his music career, offering words of encouragement and urging him to surpass his limits. As the founder of Doggy Style Records and the owner of Death Row Records, Snoop Dogg hinted at his intention to visit Ghana shortly.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Gambo decided to teach Snoop Dogg some Twi, an Akan language, so that he could easily communicate with Ghanaians in their local dialect during his visit.

The brief language lesson proved to be a fun experience for Snoop Dogg, as he learned a few Twi words, including Akwaaba, which means ‘welcome.

The meeting between Gambo and Snoop Dogg occurred in Los Angeles, California, on the sidelines of the African Pre-Grammy Awards Global Affairs event.
