Sonnie Badu And Wife Welcome 6th Child

Sonnie Badu and his wife have joyfully welcomed their second son, making him their sixth child in total.

The famed Ghanaian preacher and gospel musician who is based in the UK expressed his delight on Instagram, sharing the news with his fans.

In a heartfelt post on social media, the musician expressed his belief that his second son will contribute to his legacy. He posted:

Early this morning on Good Friday God gives me my 6th child, our 2nd son. He extends my legacy on earth; the BADU legacy…Our legacy is the priesthood mandate and the Levite mandate. To my dear wife, it was a joy to standby by you as always …

To my son, you are here to join your bother; as you both carry the legacy that God has trusted us with. Carry it in the fear of the Lord; and do it in humility and integrity.

The internet never forgets and so you can always come to this page – when you grow up .. I love you son … Welcome to the world … BABY number 6….. #BADU

It should be noted that Sonu Badu has never revealed the identities of his children on social media before. The closest his fans have come to seeing them is when he shares videos and photos showing their backs. In 2021, Sonnie Badu explained why he chooses not to show his children’s faces in their family photos that he shares online.

During an interview with popular Kumawood actor and Youtuber, Kwaku Manu, Sonnie Badu expressed his belief in spiritual attacks and his desire to protect his children from them.

He believes that exposing their identities could make them vulnerable to such attacks. According to him, when you expose your children to the world, they can become targets of unknown attacks, and it becomes difficult to determine the source.

Sonnie Badu further mentioned that there have been instances where people have posted photos of their newborn babies on social media, only for malicious individuals to use those photos for harmful purposes. He emphasized that without a strong spiritual foundation, such attacks could potentially harm the child.
