Tonto Dikeh Dragged to Court By Former Husband Olakunle Churchill For Calling Him Names

The actress received a cease-and-desist order from Churchill’s legal team for criticizing him and his wife, Rosy Meurer which she has been on for some time on social media.

The popular Nollywood actress has made a number of charges against the father of her son over the last several days, and he has responded by saying that she is lying and demanding an immediate apology from her for dragging his reputation in the mud.

Churchill’s attorneys stated in a letter dated February 19 that Tonto had unjustly accused him and his wife Rosy on social media by referring to him as a deadbeat parent, a fraudster, a robber, and other derogatory terms.

The attorney claimed that the assertion that Tonto spent N7 million on their wedding was false because they just performed a parlour ceremony at which the Nollywood star’s bride price was paid and only four guests were in attendance.

The letter also referred to Ms Dikeh’s scathing remarks labelling Rosy Meurer, Churchill’s wife, a husband snatcher. Despite the court’s decision, it was claimed that Tonto had blocked him from seeing their seven-year-old son, King Andre.

Tonto Dikeh was given a 24-hour deadline by his attorneys to publicly apologize to Churchill and his wife, Rosy Meurer, or face legal action for slander.
