Tonto Dikeh Gives ‘Last Warning’ To Nigeria Police Over Mohbad’s Body

Tonto Dikeh has appealed to the Nigerian Police to expedite the release of the late singer, Mohbad’s body so that he can be laid to rest.

Expressing her frustration with the slow progress of the investigation into his death, Dikeh emphasized the importance of ensuring justice in the artiste’s untimely demise, which occurred in a controversial manner. Despite being buried promptly after his passing on September 12, the police exhumed Mohbad’s body for further examination.

Dikeh wrote; “Give us Mohbad for a befitting burial. We are tired of your carelessness and slowness. If no one speaks, I will. “I have invested too much of my emotions, time, and love to see this Justice go through. As QM says, give the police more time. Honestly, we have given you all the more time than necessary. This is not the case to be swept under. We want Justice.”

Recall that Tru News Report earlier reported that in order to determine the immediate and indirect causes of the death of singer Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command established a 13-person commission on Monday, September 18.

At the panel’s introduction, Idowu Owohunwa, the state’s commissioner of police, urged the public to provide information to help with the inquiry while being surrounded by Mohbad’s family members. He said that all information, including videos, would be used in the investigation and that it would not be limited to just one or two people.

According to him, the command will target anyone the investigation finds appropriate. The command may pick up anyone, no matter where they are in the world, he added.

Wherever you are in this world, do not forget that we have access to Interpol.

Everyone connected to the regrettable occurrence will be found and hauled in, the police chief added. Within two weeks, the panel is expected to deliver its report. View the press conference video below.
