Travis Scott Drops Highly Anticipated ‘Utopia’ Album

Travis Scott’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, “Utopia,” has been released via Cactus Jack and Epic Records. Stream it below through Apple Music.

Utopia is the follow-up to Scott’s 2018 album, “Astroworld,” and his first full-length release since the crowd crush at his 2021 Astroworld music festival, which resulted in the deaths of ten people and the injuries of thousands more. A grand jury declined to indict Scott for the deaths at Astroworld last month.

Scott released the album’s lead single, “K-POP,” a collaboration with Bad Bunny and The Weeknd, prior to the album’s release. Beyoncé, Drake, SZA, Future, 21 Savage, and Kid Cudi are among the other guest contributors, along with Bon Iver and James Blake.

Scott’s new film, Circus Maximus, which premiered Thursday night at select AMC theatres, also features music from Utopia. The native of Houston wrote and directed the film alongside Gaspar Noé, Nicolas Winding Refn, Harmony Korine, Valdimar Jóhannsson, and Kahlil Joseph.

Scott was also scheduled to promote Utopia with a livestream event at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, which Live Nation Middle East officially cancelled on Wednesday due to “complex production issues.” The concert promoter refuted multiple reports of its cancellation that surfaced earlier this month. Scott later informed fans that Live Nation requires “a little bit more time to lay out land.
