Wagyimi Wahu- Delay Floors Fan Who Criticized Her For Behaving Like A Child Around Akon
Delay seemed to have plenty of free time on her hands and she made sure she used it on a fan who criticized her for acting starstruck around the famous singer Akon.
During Akon’s recent visit to town for a program, Delay happened to cross paths with him while he was performing.
As reported by Tru News Report, the Ghanaian media personality, whose real name is Deloris Frimpong Manso, was overjoyed to meet and party with Akon, the Senegalese-American superstar, at a club in Ghana.
Seizing the opportunity, Delay quickly took out her phone to capture a video selfie while Akon captivated the crowd with his mesmerizing performance on the microphone. This unexpected encounter has undoubtedly added a new level of excitement to the entertainment scene in Ghana.
Without wasting any time, Delay took to Instagram to share the video. In the caption accompanying the video, she couldn’t contain her excitement and even referred to herself as the Ghanaian equivalent of Oprah Winfrey.
However, when the video started circulating online, one fan strongly criticized Delay, stating that her behaviour around Akon was inappropriate and that she needed to mature.
Delay didn’t hesitate to fire back, defending her actions by highlighting Akon’s superstar status and the numerous awards he has received. She even went as far as calling the fan a fool and questioning whether they had ever achieved anything significant in his own life.
