Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, he was promptly transferred from the pitch via ambulance to undergo further evaluation and care at the hospital.

The match experienced a brief pause due to the unsettling incident, with the referee eventually calling an end to the game, which progressed to a penalty shootout.
