Why I Don’t Want to Move Abroad- Laura Ikeji

Popular Nigerian businesswoman Laura Ikeji has admitted that she would be homesick if she moved overseas in a post she shared on social media while obviously thinking aloud.

Laura asserted that her goal in life does not include living in another man’s nation. In her words, she would prefer to take vacations abroad and return to Nigeria.

In her words:

“Is it just me or is anyone feeling the same way? I have absolutely no interest in relocating to any country in the world. I prefer my holidays abroad but being a resident outside Naija? Haaa nah, l’Il pass.Me that after one week
I’m home Sick!”

Her post struck a chord with her followers and those who liv abroad emerge to share their opinion in relation to the subject matter.

Reacting to the post, funkybrowndiva wrote: “Lived abroad for 20 years now. I disagree I don’t miss nija, I haven’t visited home in 20 years. Daily I’m thankful for being here. I’ve been to many countries on holiday, here UK is home. Argue with your data!”

jahh_delight added: “Madam u dey talk bec say anything happen for nigeria now u don move go uk…ur children nko u born then for America. Abeg my people if u see chance comot go outside..make u move because the peace alone u enjoy money cannot buy it.”
