Why I Don’t Want to Share Photos Of My Children’s Faces On Social Media – Actress Funke Akindele

Funke Akindele, who recently divorced her husband JJC Skillz, has explained why she won’t be posting photos of her kids online.

The actress and filmmaker, notably known for her smash series Jenifa Diary gave birth to a pair of male twins in 2018, and since then, she hasn’t revealed their identities on any social media platform.

Because she is a well-known actress and her estranged husband, who is also their father, is a well-known media personality, she claimed that she had no plans to reveal the faces of her children to the public in an interview with media personality Jide Okonjo.

Given that they are young and both of their parents are well-known personalities, she thinks it is safe to do.

In her words:

Their dad and I are already in the public eye. They are children, don’t forget. They are children. They are vulnerable so you have to just keep them away, keep them safe. Let them go to school, let them enjoy their lives without “Ah!” that’s Jenifa’s son. That’s JJC’s son. Ah see his leg, see his face” Leave them private!
