Why I Stopped Styling Kuame Eugene- Osebo Breaks Silence

Osebo, the former stylist of Kuame Eugene has revealed why he and the popular musician abruptly ended their professional relationship.

According to Osebo, there was a specific instance where he suggested an appropriate outfit for Kuami Eugene during a music video shoot. However, ‘Rockstar’ disregarded the recommendation and decided to modify the outfit without informing him. This action greatly displeased Osebo, ultimately leading to their separation.

During an interview with Hitz FM, Osebo mentioned that even though he is no longer styling Kuami Eugene, he has noticed an improvement in the artist’s fashion sense, possibly due to the negative feedback received from the public.

“So I invited Kuame Eugene to my shop myself, and that was when he was going to do ‘wish me well video’. We took a lot of pictures with the kind of outfit I wanted him to do the video with. if Kuame wanted to use another dress for the video or another style he Should have told me. ‘Nana, no, I want a white top, but I want to remove the hand’ that maybe I would have given him one. I invited you to my shop.

“This is what you want to do willingly; I did it. So go straight and do what I ask you to do. When I sit back and watch the video, I will be happy. But when you do it upside down, I will not enjoy it. So I will not even continue to do it again. That is how I back off from Kuami Eugene.”

On what exactly Kuame Eugene did that upset him in connection with the foregoing, Osebo said, “The hand was removed; that was a posh T-shirt. Well, maybe he was young by then so he was trying to be more stylish. Now he’s doing well, unlike before.”

Kuame Eugene claps back at Ghanaians over his style of dressing

Kuami Eugene has labelled critics who criticized his attire while receiving a gift from the CEO of Angel Group of Companies as “superficial and narrow-minded”. On the 15th of April, 2021, the CEO presented Kuami Eugene with a brand new 2020 Range Rover Velar as a token of appreciation for his role as the brand ambassador for Adonko Next Level energy drink.

Critics on various social media platforms did not hold back in expressing their disapproval of Kuami Eugene’s outfit choice.

However, during an interview with Doreen Avio on “Let’s Talk Showbiz” in 2021, the artiste urged people to focus on his hard work and dedication that led to him receiving such a gift, rather than fixating on his attire.

“It is actually very shallow and very light-headed for people to think about how somebody will have to look to go and take his gift.

I think it is very light-headed if you are not thinking about how he has been able to work hard to attract this blessing to himself and you are thinking about how he has to look to go and take his own gift? I think it is light-headed so anyone that channels their energy into the positive aspect of it, and that’s what their energy was geared to, is slow for me.

It is my gift, I choose to go and take it in a pyjamas because it is my gift. I was dressed in all black with black boots and a black t-shirt, how else do you want me to look for my own gift?”, he quizzed.
