Why I Won’t Get A Lookalike- Rapper E.L. Explains In A New Interview

Hinged on the influx of persons sharing a striking resemblance to mainstream artistes in Ghana, rapper EL has revealed why he’s probably the only artiste whose lookalike won’t be found.

The former Artiste of the Year recipient at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) said his height will make it impossible for any wannabe artiste to emerge and say he resembles and embodies his personality.

During an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye, EL expressed that he is too tall for anyone to be considered his look-alike.

“As for me, I’m too tall for a look-alike. Nobody is as tall as me, so unless you find someone who matches my height, they can be my look-alike,” he remarked during his conversation.

Is E.L. a delivery guy in the US?

The rapper whose real name is Elom Adablah shocked his fans recently when he revealed how he once hustled in the USA to make ends meet.

In a recent interview on 3Music TV, EL said there was a point he had to work as a food delivery guy in the US just to keep body and soul together while he was still considered a mainstream artiste in Ghana.

In his words, that experience taught him how to be humble.

Time teaches you so many valuable lessons and it changes you, especially when you go through a few things. I’ve passed through before. There was a point in time in the States I had to start doing food delivery.

Yeah, it was that deep. I delivered food door to door just to keep myself going,” he disclosed in the interview. I’ve actually passed through things and that stuff teaches you things like humility. So anytime I see an artist and they come to me for advice the first thing I tell them is cool down, you know see anything yet.
