You Are A Liar—Okatakyie Afrifa Barks At Captain Smart Over John Kumah’s Death

Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah has criticized Captain Smart for his sensational claims regarding the alleged poisoning of the late Ejisu MP John Kumah.

According to Okatakyie, Captain Smart’s remarks are riddled with contradictions, indicating a desire to boost his ego.

He dismissed the poison theory as implausible, suggesting that if it were true, Captain Smart himself should face charges of conspiracy and aiding a crime.

He made these comments after Captain Smart was heard on tape claiming that Kumah’s death was a result of food poisoning.

According to Captain Smart, the late Kumah was allegedly poisoned during an event where he was accompanied by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Wontumi.

Furthermore, he asserted that Kumah had travelled to India for medical treatment following an attempt on his life.

The outspoken media personality suggested that Kumah had become aware of the poisoning, which he believed was a deliberate scheme to eliminate him as he has significant political power and influence.

In an attempt to find a solution, Kumah flew to India, but unfortunately, the situation took a tragic turn, and he passed away.

However, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah asserted that Captain Smart is either dishonest or lacking sound judgment for passively witnessing the act of poisoning John Kumah’s food without taking any action.

Then again, he mentioned that it was illogical that Smart remained indifferent while Kumah fell victim to poisoning twice, without notifying the authorities.

However, he finds it perplexing that Smart chose to speak out in the media only after the minister’s death, claiming to have been present during the incident.

Okatakyie then questioned how the Captain could have identified the substance as poison from a distance without ever tasting it.
