You Are Villagers, Foolish People – Captain Smart Loses It Over Despite Media Workers’ Criticism Of McBrown

Captain Smart, in his typical fiery characteristic fashion, has unleashed his venom on employees of Despite Media Group for criticising Nana Ama Mcbrown vehemently over her move to Onua TV, a subsidiary of Media General.

On Monday, March 13, the Nana Ama Mcbrown was unveiled at the premises of TV3 premises. Leading media personalities like Berla Mundi, Cookie Tee, Roland Walker, and many others turned out in large numbers to greet their new recruit and colleague.

Captain Smart, the regular host of Onua Maakye presided over the occasion while award-winning gospel musician Opiesie Esther performed.

According to the post shared by Media General, Mcbrown will be joining the Onua brand under the Media General group.

“Akwaabaa…. From the entire Media General family, we welcome the beautiful and amazing Nana Ama McBrown to the Onua family”, reads the social media post from the vibrant TV network.

Shortly after this new development, Mcbrown’s former colleagues notably Kwame Nkrumah Tikisie and Kwame Amoh descended on her for being ungrateful. The likes of Abena Moet and Micahel Ola also follow suit.

Moet in particular said Mcbrown’s rise to the top was facilitated by her employers at Despite Group as she had no proper education and certificates.

On this note, she thinks the veteran actress cum TV personality has grossly exhibited ingratitude for crossing over to Onua TV after all benefits she enjoyed during her affiliation with Despite.

“Nana Ama McBrown also known as Mrs Mensah has moved to Media General. I don’t know if they do that often but they had a whole ceremony with a cultural display just to welcome her.

“For her to transition from acting to the media without having any proper education is impressive. Whatever goods she gives you Media General, just know that we gave it to her first because we made her a TV host. We are the ones who groomed her, the credit goes to us. We groomed her into a better host,” Abena Moet argued on Okay FM.

Similarly, Ola Michael has openly questioned why Mcbrown left them to join another media outlet despite all that Despite and Fadda Dickson did for her.

“We have lifted you to a high pedestal but because of disloyalty and ungratefulness, you have been reduced to class 1, we thank God,” she argued on Okay FM.

Hinged on this, Media General’s Captain Smart swung into a vituperative mode and fired the aforementioned personalities from Despite for attacking Macbrown.

“If I get the chance, I will do another relaunch of Nana Ama Mcbrown and we will wear branded McBrown T-shirts from circle to this place. Are you people sick or mad?” he fumed on Maakye Show on Onua TV.

He then added;

What is wrong with you people? Villagers, village men who are in pain over a lady’s growth. So if your sister is Nana Ama Mcbrown, won’t you be happy? Someone said we shouldn’t have welcomed her like this, he is an animal.
