2Pac‘s Estate Reportedly Gearing Up To Put Out 4 Previously Unreleased Tracks
According to new reports, 2Pac’s estate is getting ready to release four of the late rapper’s unheard songs as a Greatest Hits compilation.
The album “will comprise of previously released recordings from the ‘2Pacalypse Now’ time to Pac’s ‘Thug Life’ period with 4 previously unheard Pre-Death Row tracks,” claimed 2Pac’s “sole official fan page” on Instagram.
Unreleased Battlecat-produced songs have been in the vault and will be released at some point in 2023, according to 2Pac associate E-Love in a podcast interview from December.
“Bob did more songs with him than I did,” E-Love said on the I Only Touch Greatness podcast. “I did two to three songs. Actually, two songs are coming out next year. Bob did a string of songs that still have not yet come out.”
The Shakur Estate settled a five-year-old lawsuit with Death Row Records over royalties owed to the late rapper in 2018. In addition to financial compensation, a batch of unreleased music was handed over and intentions to release two albums were discussed.
