Actors Guild Of Nigeria Has Never Supported My Husband – Mr. Ibu’s Wife Cries Out

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has come under fire after the wife of veteran actor Mr. Ibu, Stella Maris Okafor,  alleged that they misled the public about supporting her husband before his health became worse.

She made the remarks after the union released a statement in response to the claims of abandonment and the non-existence of a system to assist their colleagues. A social media critic, VeryDarkMan , posted a video of Mrs. Ibu saying that the Guild’s statement was completely false and that they only issued it to protect their reputation.

She disclosed that before her husband encountered issues with his health, she never received any kind of support from the union, despite her attempts to contact the Actors Guild.

“I am not happy at all. AGN came to be talking about what they did not do. Why would they come out to say they’ve been supporting my husband from the start when they did not do anything? I called Emeka Rollers, but he didn’t answer; I texted; he read the message and did not reply,” she said.

A video surfaced online featuring Mr. Ibu celebrating his 62nd birthday in a hospital bed, surrounded by his family. The video caused concern among his fans. In the video, Mr. Ibu is seen wearing a hospital gown and sitting on the bed while his family members sing the happy birthday song to him. A cart carrying his birthday cake and some drinks is placed in front of him.

Despite weakly mouthing along to the song while holding the knife in the cake, Mr. Ibu appeared to be in discomfort, repeatedly shaking his leg while trying to stay seated. His other leg, which is extended, appears swollen and in poor condition.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Mr. Ibu has been hospitalized. He has survived multiple near-death experiences and has shared his story.
