Ailing Mr Ibu To Undergo Two Surgeries
Popular TikTok influencer Martins Vincent Otse, also known as “VeryDarkMan,” says Nollywood actor John Okafor, better known as Mr. Ibu, is said to be in critical condition after recently posting a “cry for help” on social media.
VeryDarkMan revealed in the video, while giving updates on the actor’s current situation, that Mr. Ibu was set to undergo two operations due to the deterioration of various parts of his body. VeryDarkMan claims that the actor’s disease caused a blood clot in his leg and the subsequent disintegration of various body parts.
On the other hand, he recommended that the actor be transported abroad to undergo intensive medical treatment. A video surfaced online featuring Mr. Ibu celebrating his 62nd birthday in a hospital bed, surrounded by his family.
The video caused concern among his fans. In the video, Mr. Ibu was seen wearing a hospital gown and sitting on the bed while his family members sing the happy birthday song to him. A cart carrying his birthday cake and some drinks is placed in front of him.
Despite weakly mouthing along to the song while holding the knife in the cake, Mr. Ibu appeared to be in discomfort, repeatedly shaking his leg while trying to stay seated. His other leg, which is extended, appears swollen and in poor condition.
