Adele Becomes 2nd Female Artiste To Have Three Songs Cross 2 Billion Views On YouTube

Adele has made history by becoming the second female artist to have three of her songs receive more than two billion views on YouTube aside from Rihanna.

The song “Someone Like You” by Adele has amassed two billion views on YouTube, becoming her third song to do so following “Rolling in the Deep” and “Hello.”

The only female artist with three songs that have received more than two billion views on the platform is Rihanna. Riri and Adele both got their start in music at a young age.

Since they are the only two female musicians on this record, their supporters could not help but applaud them. By being the second female artist to have three of her songs reach two billion views on YouTube, Adele has joined Rihanna in making history.

With her catchy tunes, the Grammy-winning singer has already shattered a number of records and has now accomplished yet another one.

According to a recent report by Pop Crave, the song Someone Like You by Adele has received two billion YouTube views.

Following Hello and Rolling in the Deep, this is her third song to accomplish the same goal. Rihanna was previously the only female artist with three songs that had received more than two billion views on the platform. Diamonds, This Is What You Came For with Calvin Harris, and Love The Way You Lie with Eminem are the songs by the Barbadian singer that have amassed more than two billion views combined.

As Rihanna and Adele are the only two female artists with this record, their fans could not keep themselves from cheering for them.

A Twitter user wrote, “Two queens of the music industry,” while another wrote, “Back when music was good in the 2010s.” A third user commented, “The power they both hold, omg.” An Adele fan also wrote, “FIRST female artist to do so as a lead artist she’s mother.”
