Audiomack Gives Stonebwoy A Plaque For Being The First Ghanaian Artist To Hit 100 Million Streams

Stonebwoy has made history by becoming the first Ghanaian artist to exceed over 100 million listens on the streaming service.

The critically renowned international artist has over 380K overall subscribers (the most of any Ghanaian artist) and surpasses 680K monthly listeners with just 37 materials uploaded in a span of 21 months.

The recording and performing artist broke a record shared by Audiomack in September 2021 by becoming the first Ghanaian musician to exceed 100 million streams on the platform with his hit single, 1Gad.

The plaque was presented to Stonebwoy by Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy for Audiomack, Jason Johnson, and Director of Brand and Media partnerships for Audiomack, Charlotte Bwana, at the 2022 Afrochella Festival in Accra, Ghana where he headlined the first day of the two-day festival.

An elated Stonebwoy acknowledged this feat and the recognition by saying, “This is for everyone who streamed my music, God’s blessings to you all. I promise you that next year, I am going to drop an Album.”

Audiomack is an on-demand music streaming and audio discovery platform that allows artists and creators to upload limitless music and podcasts for listeners through its mobile apps and website.
