Bawumia Is Confident He Will Make History In 2024 Elections By Breaking The 8

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is certain he can lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to an unprecedented victory in the 2024 elections.

The Vice President pledged to lead the party to victory in the next 2024 elections, which would make them the first and only political party in the 4th Republic to win three consecutive elections.

Dr. Bawumia told NPP supporters in Hohoe that he plans to run in the party’s upcoming primary for the position of presidential nominee. He pledged to lead the party to victory in the 2024 elections.

“I want you to know that I appreciate your support. We are going to break the 8. First of all, we are going to file for the flagbearership, which I’m going to do, win the flagbearership, break the 8, and go to Jubilee House. That is what I’m going to do,” he said.

The “Bawumia Fan Club” collected vice presidential nomination forms on May 26. The organisation’s leader, Ntim Jakari, has urged that Dr. Bawumia be made the NPP’s candidate for president so that the party can “break the 8” and remain in power in the 2024 elections. The organisation then forked up GH50,000 to cover the candidate’s nomination costs.

Former Energy Minister Boakye Kyeremanten Agyarko was the first to pick the forms. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, who used to be the General Secretary of the NPP, and former MP for Mampong Francis Addai-Nimoh also picked up their forms to race.

Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, an economist and two-time presidential candidate for the NPP, also had his staff pick up nomination forms in his place.

Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, a former minister of trade and industry; Owusu Afriyie Akoto, a former minister of agriculture and Kennedy Agyapong are all expected to also pick up nomination forms.
