Blakk Rasta Aplauds Iyanya For Being ‘More Sensible Than Sarkodie’

Blakk Rasta has come for Sarkodie once again days after Nigerian singer Iyanya spoke fondly of Yvonne Nelson despite the negative publicity he got from her ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson’ book.

The Barak Obama hitmaker premised his recent attack on the proclamation of Iyanya in a fresh interview on Accra-based Starr FM on the programme Starr Drive when he said despite everything, he won’t sit on radio and disgrace Yvonne Nelson.

Despite being called a cheater in Chapter 10 of the ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson’ book, titled “Iyanya and My Love Life,”  which delves into the intricate details of Yvonne’s relationship with Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk and the heart-wrenching betrayal she experienced, the singer still described her as sweet and said he won’t sit on radio and speak ill of her.

Iyanya on Starr Drive with Foster Aggor, says he wished he would have focused on her rather than lying to her, “My soul was in Yvonne, I loved her, that’s why I had a tattoo of her name on my wrist. The tattoo was to show I have a piece of her everywhere I go.”

He revealed that he loved the actress and wished he could have focused on her rather than lying to her, “If I was dating her, I will just focus on her. Back then I used to lie to her. Then, it was my career first. Everything came second.”

Iyanya said he wished he could have a sit-down conversation with Yvonne to talk. “I don’t feel good that I have to sit on the radio to talk about this because it is emotional.”

He added, “I also feel like at the end of the day she is healing. Let’s not forget that too whatever it is. But what we all need to understand is that everybody has been through ups and downs and being famous comes with the territory.”

Hinged on the foreign, Blakk Rasta sho seemed to have a personal vendetta against the rapper, slamming him for dropping a diss song aimed at Yvonne Nelson fraught with vulgarism against her whereas Iyanya has demonstrated he is a true gentleman by charting a different path.

Recall that Sarkodie succeded in setting the internet on fire when he finally decided to address Yvonne Nelson’s ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson’ with a retaliatory diss song dubbed Try Me.

The revered Ghanaian rapper who is officially the most decorated rapper on the African continent, in a potpourri of emotions raging from sentiment, and musical dexterity sent Yvonne Nelson to the cleaners for citing him in her book and claiming he coerced to abort her baby when he impregnated her.

The song is still trending and dividing opinions across the internet landscape. Here at Tru News Report, dissected the components of Sarkodie’s Try Me song highlighting the concessions he made in the seemingly disparaging song aimed at Yvonne Nelson. Read more here.

Meanwhile, watch the video of Blakk Rasta slamming Sarkodie and saying he has no sense based on how Iyanya handled the same situation.
